Full job description

We are seeking an experienced solar sales professional to develop and oversee the sales team. We are offering a $2.10 redline with a 70/30 commission split. 70% to you! To be able to perform in this job role, you should possess excellent communication and presentation skills. Furthermore, you should be able to work independently and have an approachable personality. You should also be willing to travel to different locations and work at flexible hours. A successful candidate should have proven work experience in sales, management, and business development.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate leads, develop content for presentations for potential solar customers
  • Select solar energy products, systems, or services for customers based on electrical energy requirements, site conditions, price, or other factors
  • Provide customers with information on financing options, incentives, tax rebates, SREC's, install process, monitoring, and warranties
  • Prepare or review detailed design drawings, specifications, or lists related to solar installation
  • Clearly articulate the benefits of going solar in an understandable way
  • Work directly with operations management to develop marketing, recruiting, and trainings strategies

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Licensed to sell solar in the state of North Carolina
  • 2+ years of solar sales experience
  • Experience leading and managing a team
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
  • Self-motivated solar rockstar
  • Full understanding of the entire sales and installation process
  • Understanding of cultivating lasting relationships with customers
  • Experience with CRM software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
