Summary

As a 1099 Cable Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of telecommunication systems, ensuring high-quality service for our customers. Your core skills in computer networking, cabling, and field service will be essential in executing installations efficiently. With a focus on customer service and communication skills, you will address client needs while utilizing your premium skills in fiber splicing and network installation. Your mechanical knowledge and electrical experience will further enhance your ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues, making you a vital part of our team.Looking for techs with a positive attitude, good customer service skills, pride in workmanship, and willingness to learn and apply to the field.

Responsibilities:
Technical:

• Installs, disconnects, reconnects, troubleshoots cable TV, internet, telephone & fiber
• Uses small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
• Completes paperwork accurately, and reports and records work order status updates
• Complete tasks within time frame and meet performance metric goals

Customer Service:

• Greet customers in the home, be courteous and professional.
• Reviews all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
• Interacts with customers in a professional, courteous manner including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns
• Provide customer education regarding product and service usage

Qualifications:

• Must have a vehicle that you can work out of and carry a ladder on.
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
• Must be available to work weekends as needed
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Ability to carry a 28’ ladder from truck to pole
• Ability to work in tight spaces such as a crawl space of a house
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Overhead lifting, climbing & carrying ladders with a weight of up to 60 lbs
• Working above ground level
• Working in enclosed space
• Working in inclement weather
• Walking and climbing, kneeling and crouching

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per week
